Gail Matthius was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was a cast member during the 1980-1981 season of Saturday Night Live, when the series was experience a critical low point in its ratings. After she left SNL, she played various characters on Laugh Trax, a short-lived syndicated sketch comedy series. As of today, she's a member of the Spolin Players Improv comedy troupe and is also an acting and theater teacher at various acting studios in the Pacific Palisades, California area. She also contineus to perform as an inmprov and drama theater actress.
